About Us

208 CARES is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization building specially adapted, mortgage-free homes for disabled Idaho Veterans. These homes restore some of the freedom and independence our Veterans sacrificed while defending our country and enable them to focus on their family, recovery, and rebuilding their lives.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a participant with 208 CARES, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their
State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.

Once your background check is complete, the results will be made available to 208 CARES for their review.
