Our Vision: Serve the needs of others as a compassionate ministry pursuing excellence and quality, and facilitate the movement of donated medical supplies and equipment to those in need. Our Goal: To make a difference in the lives of those who do not have adequate health care.

About Us


Hands of Hope Northwest is a faith-based humanitarian and charitable organization that distributes medical supplies and equipment to a needy world. We collect medical supplies and equipment from individuals and medical organizations and make it available to hospitals and clinics in developing countries. We also loan medical equipment for home health-care to needy individuals in our local area.
Hands of Hope NW, Inc. has sent more than fifty shipments of medical supplies and equipment valued at over $29 million to twenty-seven countries. Hands of Hope’s containers bring hope and healing to thousands of people worldwide in need of medical attention. Shipments have been sent to Argentina, Azerbijan, Cambodia, Fiji, Georgia, Guatemala, Ghana, Guyana, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malawi, Moldova, Mozambique, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Somalia, Somliland, Swaziland, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

Hands of Hope also makes basic medical supplies available to medical personnel who are traveling overseas for short-term medical trips. We need at least two weeks notice in order to gather the supplies after your request is received.

Background Screening Requirement

For certain key volunteer and employment positions with the Hands of Hope Northwest, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.
Hands of Hope Northwest, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.
