Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage community service and positive activities within the youth community, engaging them with creative arts. Whether dance, music, poetry, or photography, these creative tools serve as ways to impact social change and we are focusing on making an effort to divert youth from destructive choices and provide an alternative way to have fun, serve their community and express themselves.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer or employee with Fenix Youth Project, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.

Fenix Youth Project, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our mission, please consider paying for your volunteer background check via your personal credit card (speak with your Fenix Youth Project administrator if you have any questions).

By self-purchasing your volunteer background check, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
