About Us
We are the Howard County affiliate of NAMI Maryland which is a member of the National Alliance on Mental Illness — NAMI — the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI is a three-tiered organization, working at the national, state, and local levels to provide support, education and advocacy. NAMI Howard County has served the residents of our community with free programs since 1979.
Background Screening Requirement
In order to be an employee with NAMI Howard County an organization affiliated with the Kentucky Nonprofit Association, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to begining their service.
