Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer with the Children's Healing Art Project (CHAP), an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

CHAP is a nonprofit organization and is committed to directing as many resources as possible to supporting the children we serve. That's why we ask volunteers to cover the nominal fee for their background checks.
