The Oregon Environmental Council advances innovative, collaborative solutions to Oregon’s environmental challenges for today and future generations.

Back in 1968, a group of ordinary citizens came together to form the Oregon Environmental Council. These were PTA and garden club members, outdoor enthusiasts, conservationists and other folks who believed they could get more done to protect the legacy of a clean and healthy Oregon by working together.

Today, OEC puts these same values into action as we bring Oregonians together for a healthy environment.

And we're efficient too: 87% of our income goes directly to our program work.
