The Pea Pod Family Resource Center is an intentional support and learning environment. It is a premier model for empowering families and a vital part of the greater community. By offering a wellspring of resources that are needed throughout the stages of parenting, we provide a foundation for raising healthy, active citizens while improving the well being of our participating families.

Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a volunteer or employee with Pea Pod Family Resource Center, an organization affiliated with the National Council of Nonprofits or one of their State Associations, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

Pea Pod Family Resource Center, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our mission, please consider paying for your volunteer background check via your personal credit card (speak with your Pea Pod Family Resource Center administrator if you have any questions).

By self-purchasing your volunteer background check, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
