Background Screening Requirement

In order to be a coach, volunteer or board member with the New Canaan Basketball Association, each candidate is required to have a criminal background check completed prior to beginning their service.

Please click on the appropriate link below to order your background check. Once your background check is complete the results will be made available to New Canaan Basketball Association for their review.

New Canaan Basketball Association, as a nonprofit organization, typically incurs the cost of all background checks conducted on our vcoaches and volunteers.

If you would like to help us dedicate more of our limited funds to supporting our teams, please consider paying for your background check via your personal credit card (speak with your your New Canaan Basketball Association administrator with any questions).

By purchasing your volunteer background check yourself, you will help us provide additional services to those in need.
